West Central Alabama AHEC (WCAAHEC) is 501 C non-profit community based organization located in Greene County in Eutaw, Alabama. In 2013, The West Central Alabama Area Health Education Center was formed and incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation to increase access to healthcare services in West Alabama through education and prevention initiatives. The organization’s mission and vision statements align with the goals of the program by showcasing the organization’s purpose to improve healthcare access through workforce development, expand capacity and services of existing providers and healthcare networks, enhance outcomes of populations through community-based interventions, and promote sustainability of initiatives through population health management.
